Romantics and Russians: Alexander Gavryl

Piano virtuoso Alexander Gavrylyuk has headlined at the Hollywood Bowl twice, and performed alongside the New York, Israel, and Moscow Philharmonic and Cincinnati Symphony orchestras. Here, he presents a program of works by Schubert, Chopin, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff a¬¬nd Balakirev. As recital programs go, they don’t get more testing of technique and musicality than this one, but that’s all in a night’s work for the extraordinary Alexander Gavrylyuk.
