Salt and Smoke
From the stark expanses of the Bonneville and Lake Gairdner salt lakes to the tiny burnout pads dotted around Australia, photographer Simon Davidson takes outsiders past their preconceptions of hoons and petrolheads to reveal a world where a delicate and sometimes dangerous balance is struck between power, performance and control.
Opening night is Wednesday, February 29 from 6-8pm and Simon will be filling the Pavilion Courtyard with classic burnout cars.
The exhibition runs from February 28 to March 11, from 10am-5pm daily.
Admission is free.
