Sons of Sun (The Sam Phillips Story)
Sons of Sun (The Sam Phillips Story) is a wild rock musical/play about Memphis music in the 1950s and the life of Sun records founder, Sam Phillips. Hear the story behind all the early hits of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis. A live three piece band fronted by John Kennedy plays fantastic renditions of these 50s classics as a superb acting cast led by Matthew Charleston (Water Rats, Packed To the Rafters) combine for a night of heartbreaking rock’n’roll theatre.
