Emerging Artist Jacqueline Butterworth creates breathtaking paintings and drawings of a children’s toy’s journey over the Ocean.

This new series by Waverley Studio Artist Jacqueline Butterworth draws from the artist’s own personal narrative and reflections on her childhood where a family loss meant that her childhood was a bittersweet mixture of love and grief.

The Old Bear and the Sea’ is a painted tale of an old bear, whose young owner was lost at sea long ago, and who leaves home in a toy boat to find him’.
