WAVERLEY SITES AT VENICE BIENNALE

Local Waverley architect, Chris Elliott, will showcase two Waverley sites, Seacliff House and Waverley Cemetery, as part of the exhibition “TIME-SPACE-EXISTENCE” during the Venice Architecture Biennale opening on 28 May 2016 in Venice, Italy.
The display looks at the PRESENT: his own award-winning house on Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk PAST: he is a member of the community-based group “Residents for Waverley Cemetery” advocating for the preservation of Waverley Cemetery and the FUTURE: his theoretical design for a very tall green apartment building in Sydney.
