When most people think of Bondi, they imagine a suburb populated with beautiful people, surfers and trendy cafes serving kale and quinoa. But there’s also another Bondi that is less glamorous and deeply at odds with its increasing gentrification. Jonathan Armstrong, Bondi local and award-winning photographer, is presenting his first solo exhibition: #whatistherealbondi. It showcases a contrasting range of striking, quirky and poignant images that might challenge preconceptions about Bondi.
