By Dan Hutton on December 15, 2010 in

Fans of The Angels may have wondered if they were ever going to see his face again and fortunately the answer this time around is definitely not a resounding, “No way, get effed, eff off!”

Best known as the lead singer and frontman of Australian rock band The Angels, Doc Neeson is now doing his own thing and on Saturday, January 15 he’ll be wowing the crowds at the Coogee Diggers with a mix of old and new material.

Neeson will be playing what he describes as a “rebirth” of Angels classics, taken form his album Doc Neeson’s Acoustic Sessions, as well as songs from his other band, Red Phoenix. The evening will be a mix of acoustic and electric sounds.
According to the man himself, those in attendance will see “another side of Doc Neeson.”
