One of Australia’s most-loved musicians, pianist David Helfgott, is set to return to the Sydney Opera House stage this August to perform the work that earned him worldwide fame in the Academy® Award winning film SHINE – Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor.
David Helfgott is one of Australia’s most prolific and treasured musicians. Almost 20 years on from the film that catapulted him onto the world stage, Helfgott continues to tour internationally to critical acclaim and enchant audiences worldwide with his passionate musical interpretations and triumphant personal story.
