Freelancing in the Film Industry
Most creatives, particularly those in the screen industry, become freelancers. Success as a freelancer requires a great deal of self-motivation, discipline, effective networking, and an entrepreneurial attitude. This course covers all the basics of setting up and managing your own freelance business record keeping, budgeting and cash flow, negotiating contracts and fees, invoicing and payments. You will also learn how to build your own industry networks, keep abreast of trends and developments in your specialization, and create a really great CV and/or showreel.
