From Crops to Shops

What do you get when you combine an agriculture professor and a food scientist who doubles as a chef? From Crops to Shops: Buying and Eating Food With Thought is a fascinating evening of insights into how our food is grown, produced, made and sold to us as consumers. First world food waste is even more disturbing when considered in light of the resources invested by smallhold farmers to grow high value crops like chocolate, coconut and palm oil. Our special guest speakers/food lovers will share their views on food as a form of cultural expression and enjoyment.
