Platform: Books & the Creative Zeitgeist
The Nib Waverley Library Award for Literature presents a special panel discussion exploring how literature reflects and informs our culture.
Presented in celebration of 15 years of The Nib Waverley Library Award for Literature, we will examine delicate interplay between ideas, authors and audiences, and hear from three panellists about the impact of their work on the culture around them.
Panellists include Jemma Birrell (Artistic Director, Sydney Writers Festival), Erik Jensen (author and editor of The Saturday Paper) and Omar Musa (author, slam poet and musician).
