Randwick Tree Walk for Tree Day
All are welcome to join this community walk along the light rail route between Centennial Park (at the corner of Alison Rd and Anzac Pde) and High Cross Park, starting 10am, Sunday July 27, to show support for the many trees set to be removed.
Current South East Light Rail plans will allow for up to 270 trees to be removed in Randwick alone. This includes many of Randwick’s significant and historic trees which have been here for generations.
If walking is not for you, meet us at High Cross Park 11am. Wear your best tree colours (whatever that may be for you!).
