Sand sculptures on the steps of the MLC
One of the busiest staircases in Sydney’s CBD has had a festive makeover with three six-foot sand sculptures, created to bring a “White Christmas” to life at the MLC Centre over the next few weeks.
Created by World Champion sand sculptor, Dennis “Sandman” Massoud, the Christmas sculptures located on the Martin Place stairs are part of the MLC Centre’s annual Christmas display.
The sand sculpture creations; two Christmas castles and a Santa Claus surrounded by gifts, took five days to sculpt and are made up of over 5000kgs of sand.
