The Lounge Quintet @ The Dudley
The Lounge Quintet is a unique beast – the love-child of Coogee’s Stuart Davis (best known as a choir director and Gospel singer with longtime colleague Tony Backhouse) and Guy Curd’s cool string quartet.
Guy’s quartet is the go-to group these days – everyone from Michael Buble to Peking Duck have used them lately.
Stuart is well-known as the man behind the acappella choir boom since the 1990’s. He runs 2 large choirs in the East.
Together they perform anything that meets the criteria of lush chords, soaring melodies and from-the-heart lyrics – Rufus Wainwright and David Bowie are long-
