Video of the Week – Battle of the Beaches
Battle of the Beaches from Christian Whyte on Vimeo.
Today’s Video of the Week was filmed at last month’s Battle of the Beaches ping pong tournament.
The Battle of the Beaches was an epic table tennis hit-out between local boardriders and bodyboard clubs, held at Bronte RSL.
Bronte Boardriders were the eventual winners on the day, led by the enigmatic Robert Bruns, arguably the most competitive man-child in the nation.
Sean Carroll, brother of Bondi Rescue’s Anthony ‘Harries’ Carroll, was responsible for the organisation of the event, while this nifty little vid was filmed and edited by Christian Whyte.
I’d argue that it is one of the coolest ping pong videos ever made.
