After Tim Cahill’s cracker of a goal last week against the Netherlands we thought we should find a selection of great World Cup goals from the last few decades to get you all excited.

There are goals dating back to the 1970 World Cup in this compilation, and while there are some notable absences, it’s still a pretty bloody good selection of highlights.

It’s hard not to get into World Cup fever when even the Aussies are adding to the highlight reel!
