Anyone with the slightest interest in surfing would be well aware that the Billabong Pro is happening right now over in Tahiti at the infamous reef break they call Teahupoo.

It has been absolutely pumping over there, as it often is, and the barrels and wipe-outs have been a sight for sore eyes.

Maroubra ripper and former WCT surfer Blake Thornton was over there just recently, accompanied by his filmmaking friend Matt Gilsenan (also from Maroubra), and they put together this little edit of what is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

It’s not just surfing (and nor is it just Teahupoo), there’s also plenty of local scenery and whatnot in there as well.
