Yes, yes, I know this is pretty much an ad for Land Rover, but I promise I am not receiving any payment for it. I just think it’s bloody brilliant.

As a former owner of an old Landy, it really struck a chord. For the marketing geeks out there, this is how you should be doing ‘native content’, or whatever it is you’re calling it this month.

As the spiel says: “This Valentine’s Day, one Land Rover Defender fan in New Zealand got the best gift anyone could ever ask for.”

This truly is a love story for the ages…
