Head On Photo Festival
From 5 May – 11 June 2011 Sydney’s annual Head On Photo Festival will feature a diverse range of outstanding work from across Australia and abroad. With exhibitions and events over 80 venues including major museums, regional and commercial galleries along with libraries, universities, arts schools, restaurants, cafes, pubs, shop-fronts, office buildings and parks.
Venues include The Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Museum of Sydney, the Justice & Police Museum, the Powerhouse Museum and the Australian Museum, Penrith and Manly Regional Galleries. Also participating are the Australian Centre for Photography and numerous cultural centres.
Leading commercial galleries throughout Sydney are an integral part of the festival which this year will also host outdoor events at Centennial Park and Paddington Reservoir Gardens.

Most exhibitions are free- however admission charges apply at some museums and events.
