
Global Rhythms
Saturday October 19 Eastside Radio proudly presents Global Rhythms: an annual World Music festival in Sydney. It is a celebration of the cultural diversity that exists within this city, showcasing dance, film, food and live music. Featuring some of the most exciting world music sounds, including Afro Nomad’s West African Soukos, the catholics world dance rhythms, Dereb the Ambasadors Ethiopian soul and Abuka Trio’s Brazilian funk. Also, Mongolian throat singer Bukhu with Horse and Wood plus Charlie McMahon and Gondwana Band and Tiago and Rafa’s Untitled, for contemporary cutting edge sounds.
