Guy James Whitworth Cries For Attention
This February Guy James Whitworth unveils his latest solo exhibition, ‘Cries For Attention’ at the M2 Gallery. It is shown as a part of both Mardi Gras Arts Festival and Sydney Art Month.
Well established on the Sydney art scene and with a keen following on the alternative/queer film circuit, Whitworth’s work is both provocative and collectable. While intersectionality is a bit of a buzz word at the moment, there is no more an appropriate word when referring to Whitworth, who identifies as a queer creative immigrant and as a result of that, has a unique view on modern Australian culture.
