Join The Blue Balloon Challenge

The Medtronic Blue Balloon Challenge will be held at Bondi Beach Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club on Sunday, November 12 from 10am-12pm. Eastern Suburbs locals are invited to enjoy a fun-filled morning of activities, education and charity to help raise global awareness about diabetes.

The event promises sugar-free refreshments and an opportunity to meet mascot Lenny the Lion, adding a playful and friendly aspect to the day. People will be able to participate in various physical activities like bouncing handball, kicking a soccer ball, playing table tennis and skipping, catering to different interests and ages. The challenge involves taking part in these activities while keeping a blue balloon in the air.

Living with diabetes can be described as a constant balancing act, much like keeping a balloon in the air. The #BlueBalloonChallenge aims to break the silence around this condition and educate beachgoers about the daily decisions made by those living with diabetes. When attendees film and tag @medtronicdiabetesaus using #BlueBalloonChallenge, Medtronic will donate five euros to the charity Life for a Child, making a real difference.
