Up – The Old-fashioned Milk Bar – The Atlas Kiosk at Bondi is bringing it back and their $5.50 vanilla malt milkshake can’t be beat!

Down – The Koel Alarm Clock – We’re well and truly over being woken up at 5am by these noisy cuckoos.

Up – Redfern Now – Switch over to the ABC on Thursdays at 8.30pm for this cracking indigenous drama series.

Down – New Mobile Phone Driving Laws – They’re bound to make for safer roads but they’re going to cost us a fortune.

Up – Christmas Carols – Aside from their religious connotations, there is something quite soothing about carols.

Down – Skin Cancer – Summer is here so cover up that pasty skin. If you have any weird lumps or bumps, get ‘em checked!

Up – Boxing Day Sales – No one buys from the big stores before Christmas these days. Wait for the sales!

Down – Beach Litter – If you see someone littering at the beach, let them know how you feel about it!

Up – Sweet Spot Ice-cream Cakes – The Sweet Spot in Randwick is the place to be for sweet tooths this summer.

Down – Bali Belly – Going ten days without producing a single solid number two is somewhat depressing (and painful!).
