Finch the Creepy Rooster

Up – The Mighty Roosters – They invested heavily in the off-season and it appears to have paid off. NRL Premiers 2013!

Down – 42 Years – That’s how long it’s been since South Sydney won a premiership. It hurts a little more when the Roosters win.

Up – Christmas Parties – In might only be November but the invites have started flowing already. Apologies to my liver in advance.

Down – Rising Sea Levels – Start dusting off the dinghy and inflating your lilos, in a few years time the Eastern Suburbs will be afloat.

Up – The Rugby League World Cup – Just when you thought footy season was over, the World Cup keeps it going (from Oct 26 – Nov 30).

Down – Thank You Letters – The worst thing about any joyous occasion (i.e. having a baby) is having to send out a million thank you cards.

Up – Summer Fruits – Goodbye assorted melons. Summer is nearly here and decent fruit salads are finally back on the brekkie menu.

Down – Kale – We really don’t get the fascination with this overrated vegetable. It’s just frigging spinach people!

Up – Moustache Month – It’s Movember again, so be sure to grow a mo to raise coin and awareness for men’s health issues.

Down – Working – Why can’t we just all be on holidays all the time? Is any one else sick and tired of having to work?
