The Unknown Soldier
This May, Monkey Baa Theatre Company will premiere a brand new play, THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER at Lend Lease Darling Quarter Theatre, Darling Harbour.
Set on the battlefields of WW1, and in twenty first century Australia, the play follows the dual journeys of a 16-year-old soldier fighting for King and Country, and a modern day 13-year-old boy who questions how can a soldier simply just disappear.
Written by Monkey Baa Creative Director, Sandra Eldridge the show explores the themes of the Unknown Soldier- who is he? And what does he represent to young Australians today?
