How long have you lived here?
I moved to Australia from Northern Ireland about 15 years ago and have been living in the Eastern Suburbs for about ten of those years.

What’s your favorite beach?
I love the peacefulness of Bondi in the winter, chilling in Bronte in summer – especially with a barbecue going – and hopping off the pontoon with friends at Redleaf.

What’s your favorite eatery?
I have my old favorites: Craig’s on Birrell Street for my morning coffee, a yummy and healthy brekky at Porch and Parlour, and a tasty lunch and good vibes at Bondi Picnic on Hall Street. In the evening you can’t beat the tapas (and Merlot) at Speakeasy on Curlewis Street.

Where do you like to have a drink?
Bondi Hardware and The Anchor are always good, Icebergs has the best view and The Island is guaranteed fun!

Do you have a favorite sporting team?
I love cricket. To me it means summer, sun and fun. I’ve been a big fan of the Sydney Sixers since they started.

What music are you into at the moment?
I just checked my ITunes playlists and it’s bit random. I’m quite obsessed with Future Islands at the moment, I love a bit of folky Irish stuff and I like unwinding with Nick Drake.

Who is your favorite person?
My husband, Andrew. He’s been there through all my highs and lows over the last ten years, he supported me whilst setting up my business, plus he does a mean rib-eye on the barbecue.

What do you do for work?
I have a swimwear label called Bondi Bather. It’s my thing and it’s the best job in the world – I get to work at Bondi Beach every day. I work with local photographer (and ex-Bondi Rescue lifeguard) Brad Malyon, who snaps the images that I use on my swimwear.

What do you get up to on the weekends?
I try to get up early and go for a run or a dip and a sauna at the ‘Bergs then get my game face on. Weekends are my busy time in the shop. It’s pretty non-stop, although you’ll always find me around the ‘hood squeezing in a catch-up with my friends over a vino!

What’s your favorite thing about work?
Being based at Bondi Beach every day is pretty good. For me, though, the greatest joy comes from fitting swimwear on girls that come into my shop saying that they struggle to find anything that makes them look good, and they leave with a new cossie feeling confident and looking amazing.

Do you have a favorite quote?
It’s so hard to pick just one, but this probably says it all for me: “It’s never too late to be what you might have been”.

Any other words of wisdom for readers of The Beast?
Take it easy. But take it.
