Bob has lived in The Rocks since pretty much the dawn of time, although he admits moving from Tasmania as a young fella. Bob describes himself as a “semi-retired warehouse man” but most Eastern Suburbs residents know him as the owner/operator of All Car Storgage, a long term registered motor vehicle storage warehouse near the airport that boasts the only facility that starts, runs and checks vehicles on a regular basis, and at a fraction of the price of the other car storage businesses. If you’re heading overseas or interstate and you need someone to look after your motor vehicle, give Bob a call on 0419 633 889 or 9317 3960, or visit www.allcarstorage.com.au. All Car Storage is located at 289 King Street, Mascot (just down King Street from IBIS Hotel Corner). Bob shares his local faves with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: I hate the sun so I avoid the beach.

Eatery: My favourite place to eat is at home.

Watering Hole: I drink at the Cauliflower in Waterloo.

Sporting Team: I’ve always supported the Richmond Tigers in the AFL.

Music: I’m completely tone deaf mate.

Person: Nelson Mandela is an inspiration.

Weekend Activity: I like to spend my weekends wearing a hole in the elbows of my dressing gown.

Quote: “There is room in here for two bureaucrats (sign on my coffin).”

Favourite Thing About Your Work: That would have to be the fact that I am semi-retired.

Final Word: Pay peanuts, get monkeys (directed at our wonderful politicians, of course).
