Eddie has lived in Maroubra Beach for 23 years, where he was born and bred. He currently works as the manager at Molly’s Fresh Food & Stuff on McKeon Street – a great little local eatery just a couple of streets back from the sacred sands of Maroubra Beach. Eddie shares his local favourites with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: Maroubra Beach. I’ve spent my whole life here and I absolutely love it. It’s got everything I need for a good time.

Eatery: It would have to be Molly’s. I reckon we’ve got the best food in the east.

Watering Hole: I don’t really go out that much but I do enjoy a drink at work and a couple of quiet afternoon beers with my mates when I knock off.

Sporting Team: Definitely the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs – “Go the Doggies!”

Music: I’m listening to Fat Freddy’s Drop at the moment and I don’t mind a bit of Aussie hip-hop.

Person: The Muffin Man, who lives on Drury Lane.

Weekend Activity: Making coffees for our community and late afternoon swims and beers with my best mates Jack, Sam and Alex.

Quote: “I’ve got hip-hop taste buds, I want to hear that bass when I make love, want to hear some lyrics when I wake up, write rhymes to get me through a break up, B!@$#.” – Hilltop Hoods

Favourite Thing About Your Work: I love the vibe in our little cafe. I love the team I work with each day and being part of a great community that really looks out for each other.

Final Word: Do it for the love of music (and great coffee).
