Local Favourites – Emma Baseley

By Dan Hutton on May 17, 2011 in People

Emma Baseley has lived in the Eastern Suburbs all of her life, first in Coogee and now in Chifley. She is a chiropractor at Sydney Osteopathy and Chiropractic Centre in Bondi Junction, where she cares for a wide range of people from babies to the elderly and helps them reach their optimum functioning. Emma shares her local favourites with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: I love Clovelly, especially at high tide. I love being able to walk straight in to the water.

Eatery: On a regular day I can’t go past Sushi Train at Maroubra Junction or Bondi Junction, but for a special occasion I love Harry’s Singapore Chilli Mud Crab!

Watering Hole: You’re guaranteed a great night at the Sheaf.

Sporting Team: The Under 15s country girls NSW soccer team. I was their trainer last year. They are a real inspiration.

Music: I love all music but some favourites at the moment are Birds of Tokyo, Girl Talk and Sia.

Person: I would have to say my mum and dad, tied. They have done everything for me, put up with a lot and without their help I probably wouldn’t be where I am today. Thanks guys!

Weekend Activity: Caring for patients at the clinic on Saturday, followed by dinner and drinks with the girls and a lazy Sunday, either at Cloey or shopping. I love a bargain.

Quote: “You never fail until you stop trying.”

Favourite Thing About Your Work: I love seeing a patient improve and it’s even better when they reach a set goal. I also love educating the patient on the importance of maintaining optimum spinal function in their daily lives.

Final Word: To be one step closer to reaching your optimum musculoskeletal and whole body functioning call 9369 2500 and ask for Emma, or visit www.socc.com.au for more information.
