Kimmy, the personal trainer and health and fitness entrepreneur from Randwick, shares her local favourites with The Beast…

Have you always lived locally?
Nope. I grew up in Cronulla and moved here in 2008.

What’s your favourite beach?
Bronte – it’s my favourite place in the world.

What’s your favourite eatery?
For brekky I love Salina’s at Bronte; their bircher is the best. And for dinner I like Brown Sugar on Curlewis Street, Bondi. Even just thinking about the chocolate fondant makes me really happy.

Where do you like to have a drink?
Nothing beats a glass of wine at home on a Friday afternoon – it’s the best way to relax after a big week of work.

Do you have a favourite sporting team?
The NSW Swifts! Netball is so good these days.

What music are you into at the moment?
So much stuff. But probably my two favourites are Florence and Kanye West. Plus I love Triple J Like a Versions.

Who is your favourite person?
My husband Ryan – we’ve been together since we were 17. We were going to go out for six months and it’s been 12 years! I sure tricked him.

What do you get up to on the weekends?
Saturday morning Run Club with East Side Crew is my absolute favourite part of the week – run, massive brekky, sleep and then head to the beach.

What do you do for work?
I own East Side Crew with my business partner Troy Stewart.

What’s your favourite thing about work?
It just makes me super happy. It’s amazing to be able to train with so many great people. We train hard, have lots of fun, do some really cool events and we get to be down at the beach every day. It’s really rewarding and I’d do it every day, even if it wasn’t my job.

Do you have a favourite quote?
Wish I did, but I don’t. Sorry.

Any other words of wisdom for readers of The Beast?
Thanks to all the locals who are part of the Crew. You’re all champions.
