Local Favourites – Rob Shears

Rob Shears is an international pilot and financial advisor living in Darling Point. He has a financial planning business in Bondi Junction and works anywhere from London to LA, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Singapore, Frankfurt… all over the world! Rob shares his local favourites with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: North Bondi. I always just seem to end up there (I do love Tama though).

Favourite Eatery: Brown Sugar. Amazing food with a relaxed feel. I also love North Bondi Italian.

Watering Hole: North Bondi RSL.

Sporting Team: Swannies and Division 3 Eastern Suburbs touch footy team the Rat Pack!

Music: U2, Coldplay, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and The Temper Trap.

Person: Everyone who knows me knows that my hero is Warren Buffett. He is a genius and a nice guy as well.

Weekend Activity: Friday night drinks on the stoop in Windsor Street, Paddington; Saturday, beach; Sunday, chilling with my beautiful girlfriend Allira, drinking coffee and reading on my balcony… and unfortunately we usually get sucked into the void that is Westfield Bondi Junction for some shopping (I’m glad I own Westfield shares!).
