Video of the Week – Take A Deep Breath…

By Dan Hutton on August 26, 2012 in Video

Take a deep breath… from Marcus O'Brien on Vimeo.

Marcus O’Brien, the man who brought us videos including Pure Bronte, Hometown Tama and more, is back with another great local video.

This time around, Marcus has commandeered a GoPro Hero 2 and gone beneath the surface of the Pacific to film some of the underwater wildlife and landscapes off our local beaches.

According to Marcus, “with a snorkel, mask and fins, there is an abundance of marine life just under the surface at all city beaches waiting to be discovered.”

Areas featured in the video above include Bronte, Bondi and Gordon’s Bay, and in case you’re wondering, that sharky looking critter swimming about is a Port Jackson Shark. Don’t worry though, they won’t eat you!

And just in case you’ve never seen Pure Bronte or Hometown Tama, here they are below:

  2. Thanks Peter! Appreciate your feedback 🙂
Music selection is SO important for the visuals of any short film or documentary to come together, a delicate balance between emotive tones without being too overpowering and chords that pictures naturally edit with.
