Video of the Week – Timelapse Earth

By Dan Hutton on April 14, 2013 in Video

Time-Lapse | Earth from Bruce W. Berry Jr on Vimeo.

I think this video is bloody amazing and i hope you guys feel the same way.

Essentially, it’s a time-lapse video of our great plant, Earth.

All Time-lapse sequences in this video were taken by the astronauts onboard the International Space Station (ISS).

Some interesting tidbits about the ISS: it orbits the planet about once every 90 minutes and is about 350 Km/217 miles up in the air. The yellow/greenish line that you see over the earth is Airglow.

Hope you all enjoy watching!

And makes one feel so humbled by their own insignificance on the Big Blue Ball. I just hope we band together to take care of it xx
