Lauren is a born and bred Randwick girl who is currently running an online homewares and accessories store called Dear September with her twin sister Sienna. Lauren shares her local faves with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: I’m going to have to say Cloey. I love putting my goggles on for a splash and laying on the warm concrete after a swim.

Eatery: You just can’t beat a sambo from Globe at Coogee and a little Mojo’s at Bondi Beach for dinner isn’t bad either!

Watering Hole: North Bondi RSL has the best views in town, plus a mean seafood raffle, but more frequently it’s Sienna’s balcony with a nice vino and some good cheese.

Sporting Team: My Queens Park women’s touch team, Razzle Dazzle! Go ladies!

Music: The Jezabels, The Black Keys and the king… Al Green.

Person: My sister and business partner Sienna. She is a crazy pizza-loving dancer and she is the most amazing mum to her son Bobbi.

Weekend Activity: Coffee from ‘The Bon’ on Frenchmans Road, down to Cloey with the papers for a swim and then a little afternoon nap.

Quote: “Remember the small things because one day you may look back and realise they were the big things.”

Favourite Thing About Your Work: Starting your own business is lots of hard work but even the little things are so rewarding.

Final Word: If you’re in the market for new and vintage homewares, accessories and gift ideas, please head to www.dearseptember.com.au.
