Local Favourites – Felix Clark

By Dan Hutton on April 27, 2011 in People

Felix Clark lives in Bondi and works in Waverley at his awesome cafe, Bellagio. He’s lived in the Eastern Suburbs for ten years now after seeing the light and moving over from the dark side of the bridge. This year Felix is driving from London to Mongolia as part of the Mongol Rally. Him and his mate Chris Evans will be embarking on this 15,000km rally in a 1.2 litre hatchback for The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation. They’re throwing a big party fundraiser at the Harlequin Hotel in Pyrmont on May 14 and everyone is welcome. You can also support their quest at www.justgiving.com/the-little-aussie-battlers and follow their adventure at www.littleaussiebattlers.com or www.facebook.com/littleaussiebattlers. Felix shares his local favourites with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: Tamarama or Maroubra for a surf or Bronte for a sleep.

Watering Hole: I love a cheeky beer and BBQ down at the beach in summer, or a nice bottle of red at home.

Sporting Team: I’m a rugby boy so it’s got to be the ‘Tahs.

Music: Anything from breakbeat to classical. I’m listening to a lot of rock right now.

Person: John, my new mannequin. He’s driving with us to Mongolia and will be sold into slavery to get us out of trouble.

Weekend Activity: Weekends are few and far between at the moment. I love getting away to the beach, the country, the snow or Mongolia.

Favourite Thing About Your Work: I get to meet so many people from the area and have a lot of fun interacting with them all. You get to know a lot about people just by slinging them a coffee each day.

Final Word: Please think about all the underprivileged children in the world and support the Little Aussie Battlers.
